These Terms of Use are an agreement between you, as an AgPal user, and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
By accessing, browsing, downloading or otherwise using AgPal and its information and content, you are indicating your acceptance, without limitation or qualification, to be bound by these Terms of Use.
Uses
Access and use of AgPal (including AgPal Chat) is provided solely to allow you to search for and obtain summary information on the programs and services available to you through AgPal's federal, provincial and territorial partners. You can decide if you want to go directly to the specific program/service webpage for more information. By way of example, you will not:
- Use AgPal and its information for your own personal commercial gain, such as on behalf of an advertiser, third-party, agent or your own personal commercial venture.

AgPal Chat is a generative AI chatbot that enables conversational search for information accessible on AgPal. It uses GPT technology (a language prediction model) to predict the best response to questions that are asked to it. Although its responses are grounded by the information available on AgPal, its generative AI nature may lead to the possibility of inaccurate or unexpected responses. All information processed by AgPal Chat is sent through content filtering systems to detect and prevent the generation of potentially harmful content.
